| First off, for any of you who are wondering where I got the music for my site from, head on over to http://www.ocremix.org . I happen to be a fan of the ecclectic and unique, and one of my "hobbies" is collecting various incarnations of older video game music. Anyway, to each his own.
Yesterday, I met my gf Jen at the bus station. Even though she's only gone a week at a time (she's finishing off her undergrad at Waterloo), the week seems to drag on.Oh well, just one more month and we'll be able to spend more time together .
Today, a group of friends (incl. my gf, of course) will be celebrating my b-day. It's actually on Tuesday, but since everyone's together this weekend, we'll meet today. B-days are another one of those bitter-sweet things, you know? It's great knowing that you've matured another year, and you can look back at how you've grown and all that you've accomplished in your life in the past year. But there's also a sense of mystery of the future. I guess it's mainly because of the circumstances going on around me (the whole graduation/teacher's college thing) that intensifies that feeling, but I always have a slight hint of apprehension when thinking about what might happen in the coming year. Oh well, you have to be thankful that you have good friends and loved ones in your life who will be there for you next b-day, helping you look back and appreciate everything that once was a mystery and is now history (omg, sounds like a poem! LOL).
Anyway, enough ramblings for one day. Have a great weekend ya'll!

| Welcome to my little corner of cyber space. It isn't much to look at, but I call it home . Although I haven't been one to do the whole "on-line tell-all" thing, I started thinking about how I'll be reaching a crossroads in my life and it might be interesting to look back at my thoughts and feelings during this time.
The crossroads I'm referring to is both my graduation from undergrad and (hopefully) being accepted in Teacher's College. After slaving as a lowly physics student at Dork..*oops* I mean York University for many years, I'm finally on the brink of becoming a professional. I just got my grad photos taken this week, and that's when it really sunk in; I'm almost done!
The whole experience is bitter sweet, though, because while I'm excited to be graduating, this whole waiting game I'm playing with Teacher's College is driving me crazy...it's even more stressful than when I applied to university in high school! I spent months (yes, months!) going over the applications, getting recommendations from people, and filling out the dreaded essays (side note: if anyone out there is wanting to be a teacher in the future, grab yourself an application and start writing early!) These things took forever to complete. I finally handed everything in on Dec. 19, but now I'm forced to wait until April 1 (April fool's day...ironic, isn't it?) to find out the results.
So, welcome again to my site! Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed it. Ciao for now
